chiquita

It's well-known that sex education in the United States is severely lacking, yet bananas — a superfruit rich in protein, vitamin C, and B6 — are plentiful. Since schools look out for students’ health in every other way, let’s solidify Chiquita bananas as the #1 preferred to banana brand. It’s time to claim their rightful place in the classroom, lunchroom, and even produce aisle as the top banana in sex education.

 Chiquita is…

bananas for better sex.

Video will be used to launch the campaign across digital platforms, specifically on YouTube when viewers go to search for *ahem* certain types of videos.

qr code launch

How powerful is a banana really? We’re about to find out.

To launch the campaign, every sticker on Chiquita banana peels will include a QR code, directing consumers to resources gathered by Chiquita with the help of experts.

peel & go packs

In the spirit of taking sex ed everywhere, Chiquita will partner with wellness brands, respected pediatricians, and sexual health experts to create “Peel & Go Packs” – a kit that’s got it all: condoms, tampons, lube, wipes, the works.

Available on the “Bananas for Better Sex” D2C page.

hello cake collab

Chiquita will partner with gender-neutral, sexual wellness brand Hello Cake for a limited-edition “Banana Cake” lube that boasts an extra boost of potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.

banana bus tour

We’re taking intercourse on the interstate with a sex education bus tour, stopping in some of the most conservative states in the country.

Chiquita’s Banana Bus will visit teen hot spots like city parks and mall parking lots, catching curious kids after school hours. Anyone that stops by will receive a free ‘peel & go packs’ and have the option to receive free STD screenings.

CPAC pop up

Chiquita will set up an undercover fruit stand at CPAC – the largest annual conservative convention in the country – so we can better advocate for more comprehensive sex education in the United States.
